Miles posting same day?
I just did a MR run today. Left MSP at 5:20 am today and those miles, MSP-ATL have already posted to my account..wow that's within 18 hours of flying
is this normal with DELTA?

That was pre-merger... now the mileage system is the former Northwest Worldperks Loyalty one and mileage posting is no longer instant.

Not only are mine running longer than 24 hours, the mileage credited seems to no longer make sense.
For example, flew yesterday: A-B-C-D-E. The miles just posted, and I'm getting credit for A-D 8500 miles, A-D 500 miles, D-E 500 miles, Class of Business 250 miles. The mileage, minus the CoB, is less than the identical flight going to the location. It's impossible to tell what miles are credited for what segments/flights/point-to-points. My ticket was very, very discounted, so I'm not sure where the CoB comes from, and only one segment is credited while three were added to my segments for the year but four were actually flown!
The old DL site was easy to read, posted immediately and seemed to work well. This new system is hardly an improvement.

+1 ... the delay is because DL chose to go with NWA IT platform, which all the NWA folks thinks is better; um... not for us DL customers. The descrips on my activity are so vague and ambiguous, I have amost given up on making sure I get all the credit I deserve. Good post.

When did the merger offically take place?
