mobile.delta.dumb does not work!
I try access my reservation on blackberry, but after the login only a delta logo appear. I was able to access that information some months ago, not anymore since 2 months.
Someone has the same problem. Edit: changed title from "mobile.delta.com does not work!" to "mobile.delta.dumb does not work!" |
I was accessing info on the mobile site Sunday morning via BB. It was not fast, but it worked.
|
I give it the same review as Delta.com. Slow with very inconsistent performance. If DL struggles with a functional website, how can we expect them to get a mobile interface to work properly?

as a 140 segment flyer based out of SLC, I used to use it every week. It was a poor solution, but, it worked. Has not worked for me since the merger and Delta has not responded to my email yet. I hope when they fix it they also improve it so that if I change the web page I do not lose the boarding pass.

I've had the same problem for weeks. |
I have had this problem for several months. Delta's IT shop strikes again!
|
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... that was a good laugh to start the morning!!!
(My guess is not within the next 6 mo, at a minimum)

There appears to be more than one wireless delta.com web site which could be contributing to the confusion.
The Delta web site at https://www.delta.com/help/mobile/wireless_access/ suggests that you simply type in www.delta.com into your Blackberry, and you will be redirected to the proper mobile site. When I do that, I get http://mobile.usablenet.com/mt/www.delta.com which is "Powered by usablenet mobile" and has a 2009 copyright date. However, you can also type in mobile.delta.com directly and this site appears to be "Powered by NCR/Mshift". This site times out with errors alot for me and I think is probably the old site. Because we are automatically redirected to the usablenet version, I can only assume that is the one that Delta's IT guys want us to use. It appears that the new site has less links or functionality than the original one. Since I cant get the original site to work I can't confirm :p If it helps, I am using the new Opera browser on my Blackberry. |
FYI - I received unofficial confirmation that mobile.delta.com is in the process of being retired. We should be using the usablenet version instead. Update your bookmarks with the new link.

Someone has the same problem. Here is where we are supposed to make a great leap of faith and assume that their IT systems that are more closely related to flight safety are maintained far better than the IT systems related to customer service. :( |
Agreed, it stinks. Can't even get it to work for online check-in. What's the point? Also unreliable for flight status. Those are the two things I really need on the go.

looks like I'm not the only one.......
