How can they not have an iPhone app.?

And one of the features should be to display the boarding pass bar code on the screen so that it can be scanned in like a printed one at their kiosks.

Isn't it in their interest to get people to check-in at kiosks rather than at the counter?

Not that other airlines are any better. AF has widgets, which are so 2005.

I can access the useable.net, but when I click on itineraries I can only see the first flight in each itinerary and can't see how to change seats or view the rest of my flights or anything. Any suggestions?

Airside Mobile App for iPhone

I use the Airside Mobile App when I fly Continental. It makes check in and the paperless boarding completely painless. On a lark I emailed the company. They are working to add Delta/NW, Lufthansa and Air Canada and United when it launches. I wish them luck.

Has anyone else checked out mobile.delta.com today? It appears that they have added back many of the features that were disabled after the FF program integration, including the ability to see itineraries and view/book flights. I haven't looked into mobile check-in because I don't have a flight in the next 24 hours, but it appears they have made some movement back in the right direction here.

For what it's worth, I'm using a BlackBerry Curve, but I can get it to pull up using Google Chrome on my computer too.

Noticed that today trying to check IROPS. Doesn't display the flight status so well.

Yes, it's good to see they added a lot of features, but as WBurcham said, its a total mess. I think this is a sign that they are at least working on improving the mobile.delta.dumb experience.

IP Location

I found why my blackberry does't work!
My Blackberry server is in Italy, so the IP address is an italian IP.
The mobile.delta.com redirect me to the italian site....

This happens to me as well, and it is a huge inconvenience...

I have to give credit when due: they keep making improvements to mobile.delta.dumb, including the ability to search for reservations by:
- SM #
- Conf #
- Ticket #
- Credit card #.

It's still dumb, because once logged in, I can see the general itinerary, but can't drill down into the itins to see specific flights/seats/etc. just the first flight.

Keep trying DL!

I was starting to think it was just me who had the issue of being unable to view itinerary details. The site has gotten better than it was, but it still isn't working fully. Ugh.

Agreed! Thanks DL and your contactor/supplier for fixing many of the delta mobile functions. But it does no good to view your itinerary if you can only look at the first flight and nothing else.

Still not working! My iPhone says something about cookies & session time-out when I try to login.

I wonder how much this prolonged breakdown of DL's mobile offering is costing the company in additional calls to live agents or even lost business?

I really miss nwa's mobile site.

Still not working also on my new BlackBerry (Bold 9700) due to geolocation of the IP (Italy).

MJonTravel Mar 15, 2010 9:23 pm

Working a little better for me. I did manage to check in using my iPhone last week. But I wasn't flying from a mobile boarding pass city so I could not test that option. I still wish I could view an entire itinerary, and not just the first leg of an itinerary under the manage reservations option (or whatever they call it).

I also noted that when I have put in my PIN, the iPhone now automatically displays a numeric keypad, and not the alpha keyboard which is nice since a PIN doesn't need letters.

ifette Mar 15, 2010 9:36 pm

not working on android as I get a redirect loop (it keeps redirecting with yet one more &noflash=true appended to the URL)
