Codeshare Upgrade Problems, pre-emptive action?

Any update on how to best work the EUA system now that our accounts are all merged up? Plat elite here, 120K miles flown this year... but have a nightmare itinerary for the codeshare upgrade problems:

012 ticket stock
MSP-ATL NW Coded, DL Operated
ATL-MEX NW Coded, DL Operated
MEX-DTW NW Coded, NW Operated
DTW-MSP NW Coded, Mesaba Operated

Last time I went down to Mexico, I did not get upgraded on any of the southbound legs due to the codeshare glitches... and then I was upgraded in advance on a MTY-DTW flight, but LOST my upgrade when my rez came through to the airport in Monterrey (via the DL system) with a coach seat assignment. In the end, I was upgraded after raising heck.

As it stands today, I can't even select my seats for the Delta flights. Not confidence inspiring.

Thanks for any tips.
