New 2009 Skymiles Elite Levels

I have 110,000 MQMs and will probably end the year with about 115,000. I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. Do I go for the extra 10,000 miles I need to make Diamond or do I accept Platinum Status for 2010 and start the year off the 40,000 rollover EQMs and go from there? I may not travel a ton in 2010 so 40,000 EQMs on Jan 1st will only leave me 35,000 shy for 2011 Platinum Status. I almost feel like if accumulate 125,001 miles - you are screwed in a sense. Is the new Diamond Tier really that worth it? HELP!

Thank you, KLC for providing that important link. Also, welcome to Flyertalk and the Delta Forum, nitro26x. Given that the link has been posted which will answers the OP's question, I am going to lock this thread.
Thanks for your cooperation.
