Layover in Cuba

As a US citizen, am I able to stop in Cuba on a layover? Do I need anything specific besides normal passport?

Welcome to FlyerTalk.

As a citizen or resident of the USA, you may not transit or layover in Cuba unless you have a permit from the US OFAC (US Treasury - Office Of Foreign Assets Control) at this time. Without the documentation you will not be allowed to board an aircraft to Cuba in the US.

If I am not wrong, does Cuba not have a minimum stay requirements?

I'm curious what kind of itinerary you're looking for and what booking engine you're using that would present you with an AAA-HAV-BBB connection.
