Mexican Riviera in October?

Hi,

Thinking about taking the Mexican Riviera cruise in October. The women want to laze out around the pool. Will it be warm enough to do this as that time?

The further south the better off you are.
If you are just doing a 3 or 4 night to Ensenada it will be luck of the draw. I went in Sept. and a weird weather pattern kept us freezing cold. I've also gone in March and just happened to hit the cold front as well.

I went in September several years ago, departing out of LA. The weather was perfect! Can't say the same for the cruise before ours. Remember, it is still hurricane season!!

We did it in October.

Warm enough, yes, the temperature was wonderful

But three days had incredible wind. Blow the cushions off the chairs and who put the towels in the pool type wind.

If the ship offers protection from the wind so much the better.

But the sun was wonderful

We went the week after Thanksgiving out of San Diego. The sailing days were cool & breezy. The port days were warm, sunny & perfect ^

It can be hit/miss for the Mexican Riviera in October. It's the end of the rainy season and mother nature may not be done with it by then. I've seen sunny, beautiful days....and days with clouds, rain and thunderstorms too. I was also down in Puerto Vallarta in mid October and there were, not one, but TWO tropical storms spinning right off the coast, sending wind/rain accross the bay onto the coast. I def would not have wished to be on a cruise during that time. But odds are, the weather will be fine!
