pruning? where did it go?

pruning? where did it go?
is it my settings or did my post about my parents cruise get pruned? if so, this would be a very BIG reason no one posts here.
if its my settings- its probably other peoples as well.

figured out that when i entered the forum it showed only posts from the "last day" in sort options.
its the default and hasnt been a problem on other boards- airline/car/hotel.
this could be a clue to why people dont post as often.
i set it to "last 2 months" and suddenly here are the posts again!
