Christmas Cruise Options
Right now, my extended family with several families of relatives were considering a Mexican cruise. The last time I was on a cruise was maybe '95/'96 on the Costa Victoria. We'd like a cruise that leaves from California as I'm west-coast based, which I assume it means leaving most likely from Los Angeles, San Diego and not sure if cruises also depart from Long Beach or San Francisco. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone could make any suggestions on good cruise deals that leave from California down to Mexico. If you have any suggestions/tips on deals or wish to post a report on a cruise experience, please share. BTW, were planning to take this around christmas time.
Always appreciated,

You have so many options around that time of year.
Royal Carribean has the Vision of the Seas from San Pedro on Sundays.
Carnival has the Carnival Pride from Long Beach on Sundays and the Carnival Spriit from San Diego every 8 days.
NCL has the Norwegian Star from San Pedro every 8 days.
Holland America has the Oosterdam from San Diego every Saturday and the Ryndam also from San Diego occasionaly.
Princess has the Golden Princess from San Pedro every Saturday and the Dawn Princess from San Diego every Sunday.
Have fun choosing!

It looks like you will need several cabins. Make sure and get a good travel agent. They can get you a group rate with special things included if you have enough people.

We went on an 8 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera just last Christmas on Carnival. Had a great time! I book my cruises with cruise.com, you'll definitely want to book this soon for the holiday time. If you have someone who is military, or has been in the military, Carnival has a very good discount!
