Princess - Captains Circle

I seem to remember that I read something about Princess being bought out or having merged with another cruise line. Is there another cruise line with whom you could cruise and the cruise would count towards your Captains Cirlce Membership??

There is no mention of this on the main part of Princess' website, and I don't have my member number handy to log onto the members site.

Princess is now owned by Carnival. You might try their website.

RCCL has the sort of deal you're describing, but not quite. I think there is a reciprocal recognition of Celebrity status and vice versa, but it's not like the airlines, where you can accrue miles and status on a partner carrier.

I had a letter saying that all past Princess and P&O cruises would count in Captains Circle. They even accepted a P&O cruise in 1969 for this purpose.

Carnival also owns Cunard, Holland America, Costa, Seabourn and probably others. No cross mingling of clubs at this time.
Just returned from 18th cruise on Princess, after 15, you reach top level but nothing to write home about...Bar in your room, but suites get this anyway, free ldry and dry cleaning, this is nice, and a few other small perks.
Love to cruise and looking forward to the next one.

It's just Princess, they don't combine them.
