QM2 questions

Friends of mine bid for a Queen's grill penthouse at a charity auction.....and won it for less than a third of what it sells for. No one else bid! They have asked me to sail on the same crossing.

If they are Queen's grill, wouldn't I have to buy a Queen's grill stateroom in order to eat in the same dining room?

Also, does the Canyon Ranch Spa have any classes, (i.e. yoga) or is it just a pampering spa?

Unfortunately, yes you would a need Queen's Grill stateroom to dine with them. You might want to check on cruisecritic.com for more specific advice as I am unsure about your spa question.

Hi,

Did they ask you to come with them in their suite? If they want you to buy a cabin of your own, yes, technically, you would have to buy a cabin in Queens Grill.

There a couple of ways thought that you can dine together eevn if you are not in Queens Grill.

1. Your friends can "dine down". In other words they can dine with you in Princess or Brittania. Queens Grill guests can dine down but you can not dine up.

2. There are a number of alternate restaurants that you can dine in together. I love the Italian and the Carveery is great also. Lotus, the Asian fusion is also wonderful. All of you can dine there

3. Todd English, which charges $20. for lunch and $30. for dinner is another alternative. The Chefs Galley which charges $30. is a demonstration kitchen and lots of fun.

4. Its NOT publicized BUT and people will deny it happens but if Queens Grill is not full and your friends TIP the maitre'd you may be able to dine in Queens Grill with them one or two nights.

Its a great ship and a great experience.

Cheers

Canyon Ranch

Sorry, did not answer the other part of your question. Yes, CR does classes (yoga, pilates, etc) The fitness center is great and I always was able to get a treadmill.

You will have to pay to use the "Spa facilities" thallasotherapy pool, sauna, steam etc if you are not purchasing a service. I highly recommend the Thai Massage.

Cheers
