Biggest Cruise Ship
I am planning on taking a cruise this December, and it is going to be my wife's first cruise so I wanted something that was rather stable and didn't move a whole lot.
Any suggestions, we are looking at going to the caribbean.
Thanks

Princess is having the maiden voyage of their new ship The Coral Princess. Leaves Ft. Lauderdale on 12-14 for ten days with stops at Cartagena(you don't have to get off), in and out of the Panama Canal( not thru) Limon Costa Rica,Grand Cayman and Cozumel, returning the 24th to F/L. You take the chance of all maiden voyages with unsolved problems and failure to go, but we are going to take a chance. Be sure to buy "gold" insurance at time of booking if you book.

Honestly, any of the major cruise lines ships built in the last 10 years will do as you wish (stable). All have active stabilizers, which are wings below the water line that extend in open water to reduce rocking.
One of my favorite stories I tell my "Cruising would make me seasick" friends is when my wife and I were sitting in the bar on the Holiday (considered tiny by todays standards) wondering when the ship would leave. We went up-top to see what the delay was and realized we had been at sea for 30 minutes. We hadnt felt a thing! Of course if you get caught in bad weather...Size doesnt matter.
Be forwarned though...her first cruise wont be her last. You may get her addicted!

There are so many ships & so many different itineraries-ie western, eastern,or southern caribbean. As stated above, most of the ships today are huge with stabilizers.I suggest you get some brochures to pick a ship & itinerary.then book thru Costco or Crucon-the best prices I have found.Ebjoy!

Hubby I and the in-laws (their first time) will be on the Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas (Southern Caribbean) this coming September. This AOS and her sister ship Voyager of the Seas are supposed to be, to date, the ' biggest' mamas of them all.
As a matter of fact, I just saw a documentary about making of this particular ship on Discovery Channel last week, and it was AMAZING!
