Solar Eclipse

Is anyone booking a 2026 Solar Eclipse cruise? I've got a Virgin Voyage on hold for the Scarlet Lady.

I have a couple clients on that one. If you are booking a balcony or better direct from Virgin, I have a My Next Virgin Voyage available for you to use through my agency. That will get you a small discount and some bonus OBC. If youre already working with an agent then continue to work with them. I dont want to poach from another agent, especially since a lot of us that work with Virgin know each other pretty well.

Virgin has already given me that discount and OBC. I would be happy to buy a MNVV that's good for my cruise. I expect that Virgin will also give me some more OBC when I go to take it off hold.

If you're already getting that from Virgin then that's a pretty good deal. Right now it's pretty expensive. With one of my MNVVs, a full view Balcony on a higher deck is $9,322 with $450 OBC

Yep. We're doing the Med cruise and it's pricing almost double the same cruise before and after. Really expensive but it's a bucket list and Virgin has changed the course to be at full eclipse.

I was look at Celebrity and Holland America for the 2027 eclipse since that one will last 6 minutes. Decided sooner is better since you never know what can happen.

Virgin Voyages Eclipse Cruises

I have discount rates set up on sea terraces available on both of the 2026 Virgin cruises (Iceland and Med) as well as the newly released 2027 eclipse sailing (Tangiers).
I also have MNVVs that do combine with the discount.
I agree with FFMilesJunkie about poaching.
Sailed the Emerald Princess on the April 2024 cruise and have been obesesed ever since

I'm waiting for 2028. That eclipse is a bit shorter, but goes right over Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean, across Australia, over Sydney, and hits Dunedin shortly before sunset. Lots of possibilities.

By the Way

The Virgin 2027 eclipse cruise was announced just a few weeks ago. Regular sea terrace balcony cabins are no longer available for sale to the public, unless a TA has reserved group space Very popular! Most of the other cruise line eclipse cruises are sold out or wait-listed.
