Print luggage tags on a B&W printer with plain paper?

I used a black and white printer to print our cruise tags for our cruise last week, and it worked fine. I attached the tags in our hotel lobby when we checked out to go to the port. Folding the paper a bunch of times, as required, makes it much more sturdy.
