What does Michelin star inspired cuisine mean. It's not Michelin Star but I bet the prices are Michelin Star.

I was just about to sign up for the AirCruise, but then I realized that I wouldn't earn any MQMs or MQDs, so forget it.

This is a lie by the website. OZ's F suites have 32 inch HD monitors.

About once a year, I get a catalog in the mail for a pretty ridiculous trip similar to this...the plane is a 757 and the cost is $50-60k/person. It's always a co-branded thing with my school's alumni association, and I forget who the actual operator is. (Surely they know I'm about 20 years younger than the target demo for the trip, but they still send the catalog!)

In any case, the itinerary is always pretty amazing - about a week longer than this one with much more unique destinations than Chicago, LA, etc. The descriptions are every bit as over-the-top about the food and wine. Obviously less about the plane itself, other than it's all-F configured. I'm sure ground accommodations on those trips are quite good - just not the Peninsula brand.

In other words, I'm underwhelmed by this one.

There is also another itinerary where they fly from Easter Island to Bali non-stop. I wonder how many hours that will be.

Crystal's way of saying they think their food is that great. Some is and some is not. It is all included with the price. Have not been but would hope for that price the service level is on par with the highest level of their ship service.

It reminds me of hotels that proclaim themselves as "five-star" when no well-known ratings bureau has even rated them.

I doubt this will appeal to most flyer talkers. I mean you don't get miles for all this flying. What is the point right? Just kidding. We did a world cruise with Crystal 2 years ago. It was completely top notch.

FYI there is a poster over at cruise critic who posts on the Crystal forum known as Flyertalker. Please ring your call button to identify yourself.
