Booked on the Millenium?
....Might want to cancel or change your plans!
As I was heading to the bathroom Sunday night to get the kiddo ready for bath time, I saw the most curious thing out of the living room window. The Celebrity Millennium was heading towards downtown Ketchikan, AK. Well wait a minute. It's 630pm. Ships come in at 630am, not pm! Grabbed the binoculars and yep, being escorted by a tug.
It's been docked in Ketchikan since Sunday evening with propulsion problems and from the looks of it, it's going to be another day or two before they get it moving. Then my guess is that it will head straight for a dry dock for repairs somewhere.

In a press statement, Martinez said, "The ship is capable of sailing without the affected unit; however, in an abundance of caution, the Captain decided the safer and more prudent action was to return to port to evaluate the issue While in Ketchikan, our technical teams will make a full inspection of the unit, and assess the need for any necessary repairs."
Heading south, the Celebrity Millennium was scheduled to be in Vancouver on August 23rd. The 965 foot long ship can transport 2158 passengers.

Full refund coming plus a certificate with something towards a future cruise.
Bummer for those booked on this ship (other than they won't experience any problems since the cruises have been cancelled proactively).
