cruise.com or cruises.com

I'm confused, these two websites appear to be different companies. Are they both legit? Which one is the more popular one?

Its definitely easy to mix them up!

No idea. I use an individual agent, who works through Expedia Cruise Centers. I would never use one of those anonymous aggregator sites.

Cruise.com is Omega World Travel, Inc. in Fairfax, VA
Cruises.com is World Travel Holdings, Inc. in Wilmington, MA

They are different companies, as are most of the other versions of cruise or cruises dot something.

If you are going to spend hundreds, or thousands of dollars, you really shouldn't base it on a company you never heard of because they were first to register a domain name.

Not saying they are not legit or anything, just that for the price of a cruise it's more than popularity and a pretty domain name.

I've used cruise.com in the past and think they are a reputable company. I like their website b/c they show real-time availability of cabins. I will use cruise.com along with vacationstogo for pricing.

Good luck,

F.T.

We have been booking with cruise.com for years. 95 percent of the time we get prepaid gratuities and onboard credit. My online agent is extremely responsive. She gets back to me within the hour during the workday. She is excellent.
