Oasis of the Seas...need some help!

okay so i read the reviews and other things but I still need some help! I know the reveiws are mixed but i have to board this ship for a conference but taking some family/friends along...

I would like some help with the following questions:

1. Visas? for Non-US citizens, any help?
2.Food, I have a friend who is vegan how can you ensure good food?
3.Good places to go? Places not to miss on the ports?
4. Places to avoid? places to avoid on the ports?
5. Things to do? (any cost effective ones?)
6. Good places to eat on and off ship? (keep vegan/vegetarian in mind)
7. Should we prebook stuff? is that even possible? like events onboard.
8. Cellular coverage, i know charges are hefty, some posts said its spotty on board but calls come through, any carrier better than other?
9. Internet access, what is the cheapest way to get the most access?
10. Are there any "packages" available that reduce cost on board?
11. I had to book through the conference folks, anyway to take advantage of other things like RCI benfits, Amex benefits etc?
12. Any special insurance we should take? Medical facilities onboard?
13. Any special precautions to take? Preventive medications?
14. Any suggesstions/comments/concerns?

Thanks guys and gals!

1. Visas? for Non-US citizens, any help?

The cruise line will be able to tell you an answer.

2.Food, I have a friend who is vegan how can you ensure good food?

Contact RCL and aee about a vegan menu

3.Good places to go? Places not to miss on the ports?

Don't know what cruse you are taking. Check cruise Critic for all things port

4. Places to avoid? places to avoid on the ports?

See #3

5. Things to do? (any cost effective ones?)

See #3

6. Good places to eat on and off ship? (keep vegan/vegetarian in mind)

See #3

7. Should we prebook stuff? is that even possible? like events onboard.

Look at RCL website. All the information is there

8. Cellular coverage, i know charges are hefty, some posts said its spotty on board but calls come through, any carrier better than other?

See #3

9. Internet access, what is the cheapest way to get the most access?

Look at RCL website and cruide critic for many detailed options

10. Are there any "packages" available that reduce cost on board?

Look at RCL website for information on what they offer

11. I had to book through the conference folks, anyway to take advantage of other things like RCI benfits, Amex benefits etc?

Ask RCL

12. Any special insurance we should take? Medical facilities onboard?

See RCL website for information on medical facilities and how they charge for swrvices. you can check www.insuremytrip.com for travel insurance. Check your current medical insurance to see of the will cover anything out of the United States. The ship will not provode a CPT code which is usually needed to get reimbursed by your insurance.

13. Any special precautions to take? Preventive medications?

No idea where your interary is. I doubt you need any speacial immunizations unless you are going on an exotic cruise to little traveled places. Again the RCL website will address this topic

14. Any suggesstions/comments/concerns?

yes. look at the RCL website thoroughly and see what information is gives. Most topics are covered there.
