Do cruise lines status match?

I know that hotels do this, but was curious if the various cruise lines do as well.

We've joked about that here, but no one has reported any success. The only thing remotely close right now is the status recognition from Celebrity when you are sailing on Royal Caribbean and vice versa.

If you have any luck, come back and let us know!

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are owned by the same company, thus do match your status, from one direction to the other. However, you can't combine cruises from both lines to attain higher status.

Princess and Carnival (and Cunard and HAL ...) are also owned by the same company, but don't do this.

you might try by talking to the line directly re booking w/ the provision that they match & you won't use a travel agent.....good luck...
