WorldPerks Visa
I have the AMEX Platinum card and I have also had the Worldperks card for quite some time. As most of us know, and as a result of the NWA/Delta merger, US Bank is automatically sending a new "travel" credit card to all current Worldperks Card holders.
I do not want this "new" credit card from US Bank.
I want to have a Visa to complement my AMEX Platinum... any suggestions? I want something simple, maybe even fun (i.e. Starbucks Visa).
Thanks

Same boat
Lots of threads about this but the answer is it depends on your goals.
Miles? The "best" I read about is the Wynn visa because you can convert to Delta SM's for $1:0.8, so you are not getting $1:1 but it is the closest I could find.
Hotels is my Visa go-to --- I am using my Hilton Visa and using that for most my auto pays since they are giving $1:6 for categories that fit most my autopays.
I use Marriott visa for other items.
I use all the branded cards because when I stay on their properties and use their cards you get very good bonuses.
There are some good threads for people who run for cash back rewards. Not my need but some look attractive.
But, it all depends on your goals/habits to chase the golden points.

in a time when many other banks are increasing fees (forex and otherwise), cutting service and slashing limits, this is one of the few that i have found that has dared to swim against the current and deliver more to cardholders in these times of less.

I really just want something kind of unique and fun. I will put just about everything on the AMEX Platinum-- but need something that is Visa branded for those places that wont accept AMEX. I am thinking about the Starbucks Duetto Visa card.

Are you interested in something cute, or something that has value? Schwab Visa (2% cash back on all purchases) or Penfed Credit Union Cash back Visa (5% on gas, 2% on groceries, 1.25% on everything else) are solid choices.
The Starbuck's card is a 1% cash back card, and the rebate is only good at Starbucks. In other words, a waste of time.

This will probably get better responses over in OCC. I also deleted a couple of posts that were no longer necessary.

This is what I see for the Hilton Visa:
Get the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card and earn:
6 Hilton HHonors bonus points for each $1 spent at participating Hilton Family hotels.
3 Hilton HHonors bonus points for each $1 spent at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations.
2 Hilton HHonors bonus points for each $1 spent on all other purchases.
