Using TYPs for expedia help finding AA fares
Ive been doing a lot of pricing back and forth trying to book a fixed flight via expedia and the typ.
Ive read the wiki and all the threads i can. My problem at this point is finding fares on expedia.
Im trying to book on AA and I can find fares that fit the bill for travel on AA.com but when I go to expedia I cant find the ones I found on AA. Or sometimes I cant find the entire fare. To get to certain fare caps there are longer (less cheap) fares I can find on AA.
The expedia search engine doesnt ever seem to allow more difficult routing. It seems to choose the most direct route. Im looking for a way to view on expedia the more roundabout and expensive fares.
Also, on AA there tend to be different fare classes within the same cabin level that have different prices and as a result different fare classes some refundable some not etc. Like normal business class and instant upgrade stuff like that.
How do I know about my expedia ticket and what fare class they are etc. Or if they are only listing one fare how do i know which class it will be. If its the refundable version id obviously prefer the non refundable.
Thanks!!!!
