Using Partner Programs with Virgin Points
Hi,
I am looking for a new credit card for my expenses (>£40K pa)
As a member of a few loyalty schemes I want to have points to use among them.
So my question is this, is it easy to use the points earnt on a Virgin card on the associated partner programs, ie BMI diamond club, Hilton Honors etc...
Also what is the point conversion like, I know it will not be one for one but I do not want to spend the year earning lots of points only to be shafted.
TIA

Where are you located? There is no US Dollar denominated credit card which earns Virgin Flying Club Miles directly. In the USA it is possible to earn points which are convertible to Flying Club miles with American Express Membership Rewards, Diners Club (Mastercard) Club Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest (American Express), but all of these programs also convert to many other programs with no need to pass through Virgin's program.
