Tickets

I just got my Citi PremierPass Mastercard (not Elite) and want to maximize the miles for a trip for 4 to Disneyworld. The hotel arrangements are made so I'm really trying to use the airline tickets and rental car to build miles.

Problem: I will not be in their system until I get my first statement so I can't look up airline tickets. Do I have to purchase tickets from them to get the companion ticket free? If I buy them from Expedia do I get miles for dollars spent but not for miles traveled?

What would you do to maximize the miles on a trip like this?

Welcome to FlyerTalk.

The regular PremierPass card does not have the companion ticket benefit (which isn't much of a benefit anyway--see the main PremierPass thread for more details).

Regardless of where you purchase the tickets, you earn flight points.
