The Holiday Inn credit card from Chase offers 15000 points upon first purchase, and that's enough for 1 free night in many locations.
The even better portion of the offer is a $20 cash credit upon first purchase. This appeared on my account even before I received my first bill! That's like finding a free $20bill.
No fee 1st year.

Cool. But, remember, the SPG card offers 12,000 bonus points which is enough for 3 nightly stays in some hotels; 2 nights in others & 1 night in a few really nice ones.

As recently as December 2006 the Priority Club VISA offer was 30,000 points. Unless you have an immediate need for this card I would wait and watch to see if the offer returns.
