On a recent trip t , I had my first experience with the foreign exchange charge.
Citi nailed me 2.5 per cent for changing Russian Rubles to dollars. The exchange rate, pre surcharge, was no better than I could get at the local money
exchange kiosk Although covered many times here, you have to experience it
to appreciate it.
