Are there any US or AU based cards with 0%, or very very low foreign conversion fees?
Also anyone know of a US based card that can get QF points?

AFAIK all of the Capital One cards have no additional bank markup (above the brand-imposed fees). The VISA brand is apparently imposing 1%, although this was not charged to 2 GBP transactions for me last week. Because this VISA brand markup is currently in effect, I expect Capital One to pass it on some time soon. The MasterCard brand is scheduled to remain at 0% until this autumn.

As a helpful FYI, on US companies' web pages, the "Contact Us" link will include usually a page with phone numbers.
