Visa Signature vs. Platinum

Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, couldn't find a thread that answered this specific question. If there is, please point me in the right direction

Trying to figure out if Visa Signature is the "next" level past Platinum, or is it just with a little bit more service like the concierge. Speaking of which, has anyone really used that service. I've never really paid attention to the Signature benefits and do alot of bookings and reservations myself.

Any experiences?

Comparison...

I saw the comparison before, but I'm more interested in knowing whether it has any real value. The concierge thing sounds somewhat of a gimmick. Has anyone used them and found it worth anything?

The concierge service doesn't really do much beyond what you can already do yourself. It's more a convenience thing, and sometimes they can really screw up. I'd consider the worldwide toll-free concierge access numbers to be the best part..

Who is the conceirge provider for Visa? I know VIPdesk is for Diners Club and Mastercard, while American Express uses Circles.

I have never used the Visa conceirge, but I have had good and bad experiences with Circles and VIPdesk. Quintessentially offers the best conceirge service, and I believe it is bundled with the Vertu line of phones. I have used them a few times, and they service is very good.

Overall, if I had a more complicated task, I would either do it myself or hand it over to someone I trust and have frequent contact with. I would never leave it up to a conceirge that is bundled with a piece of plastic.

Kyle, the concierge service for Visa Signature cardholders is provided by World Access.

I was recently approved for a Charles Schwab Visa, which contracts their concierge service over to LesConcierges.

Hence the three questions below:

How does LesConcierges compare to Quintessentially?
How does LesConcierges compare to Circles?
How does LesConcierges compare to World Access?

There are some mixed opinion regarding Circles (AMEX Plat/Cent holders), but a number of Merrill+ holders have had fine success.

Primary measurement of comparison is the muscle behind the service in securing hard-to-get reservations/tickets (IMHO a concierge service is useless if they don't have any extra pull when it comes to getting your hands on something -- if they can't do anymore than I can, then I might as well call the restaurant myself since I'm going to have to provide the same information anyway, might as well cut out the middleman).
