UAL Visa Questions

I have a couple of UAL Visa questions that I didn't find an answer to with a search.

Mrs WCF needs a new Visa for business related purchases and wants to apply for a UA MP Visa. I would become an authorized user. However, we each want to have the miles for our purchases go into our own MP accounts rather than all into her account. ILUVCITIBANK is trying to do the same thing with his Starwood Amex for many of the same reasons. (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...ransfer+points). Like ILUVCITIBANK I don't want to apply for 2 accounts. It was noted that this could be done with AA Citibank. Does anyone know if it can be done with UA / Bank One.

Second question. Mrs WCF already has a Bank One Visa account - not airline related. In one thread someone suggested that Bank One would reduce the credit limit of the existing account and apply it toward a new account with the result of two accounts with lower limits. Has anyone other than the one poster experienced this.

Thanks

BankOne told me when I called in recently that they have stopped reassigning the credit line when combining accounts .. the rep didn't know why. I don't know if it is in preparation for the merge of BankOne/Chase computer systems or not as that is just conjecture.
