NW Visa T&C states no bonus miles if you had a NW VISA before - do they not inforce that rule? (hope they don't)
I cancelled my NW Visa yrs ago, when it stopped awarding 1 mile per $ if you did not have a balance from month to month. I think they switched to 1 for $2 or $3 when no bal. - I honestly forget since that could have been 10 yrs ago.
Does NW VISA now give 1 / 1 when bal. is pd in full each month? I charge everything only for the miles and don't like to fatten a banker's pocket by paying interest.
I'll apply for new card tonight if they'll give me bonus miles & have resumed 1/1 regardless pd 100% each month or not.
Thanks

I always pay my full balance each month with no interest payments and get 1 mile per $1 dollar. You have to be careful, because the bill sometimes comes very late and you have only a few days to pay, not the 20 or so their written material suggests. (You can set it up for autopay, of course, if you wish.)
I got the card last year with bonus miles and no fee for one year.
However, their "customer service" is horrendous and they have been very late posting miles--you have to factor in a number of hours on the phone each month and the psychiatrist's fees for treating the emotional trauma caused by the insults they like to hurl at you as part of the price.

However, we get NW miles when we charge our psychiatrist's fees!
Glad to hear miles are 1/1 again regardless if paying in full or not. The current bonus is stinky; hope a good offer appears soon.
Thanks for info

You could just apply for the no annual fee WPs Visa which earns 1 mile / $2 spent. It's an unpublished card so you'd have to call and ask. A search here on Flyertalk will pull up more info on it.
