Can I get a new mileage card every year?
I am a Chase CO World MasterCard cardholder and I received an offer saying that I would get 10,000 bonus OnePass Miles and a whole bunch of other benefits if I applied for the card. I called the number given and was told that the offer was only for new cardmembers but I could get a new card and then cancel the old one. I was just wondering that if thi is the case, why doesn't one just do this every year and get bonus miles? Does canceling a card and geeting a new one affect your credit history in any way?? And if it does, is it enough to make any difference? Thanks!
