Free Visa Cards for your Consideration
For those that don't like paying fees, the best I believe, is the MBNA Cendant Travel rewards VISA. 1% redemption on a host of merchants (B&N, Avis, Ebags, Earthlink, Days Inn, Ramada, Foot Locker, Toys r' US, Sports Authority, Sears, Kmart, Target, TJ MAxx, J. Crew, Marshalls, Abercrombie & Fitch, The Limited, American Eagle Outfitters, JC PENNY, Chilis, Hard Rock Cafe, TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Bennigan, Pizza Hut, Outback Steakhouse, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Borders, Blockbuster, General Cinema, Home Depot, OfficeMAx, Zales, Starbucks, Coach, Discovery Store, etc, etc)--including BONUS pts. for spending $$$ at many, but not all of these merchants.......and a travel program that has the following:

If you're into merchandise rewards, the Nextcard Amazon VISA is great with NO fee & 2% return per dollar. Simply great!.......By the way, Nextcard is reengineering their normal card to include more travel rewards (I'm skeptical at these improvements, of course!)

As i posted in the other thread, BE CAREFUL with NextCard, as new applications accepted after June 21 will NOT get 2% returns. It will be at the next point redemption levels, 2500 points for $25 Gift Certificates (1%).
As soon as I find a new credit card, I'm dropping my NextCard.
