Question Getting points as a young adult

Hi, I'm a young adult and I'm wanting to get a low or no annual fee credit card for now. I do want to earn points over cash back. I already have a few thousand delta points and about 30,000 Marriott points. So I was looking at the Bonvoy Bold card, the Amex Everyday card and the Delta Blue card. What is the best out of these three and what other cards should I consider?

What exactly does young adult mean? High school student? College student? Living at home with parent(s)? Employed part or full time? Credit history? Credit rating?

If you're a full time college student (with or without a part time job), you might want to start by exploring the credit card offers and special applications for students. Even if they don't give points/miles, they could help you to establish a credit history/rating, which is the first step. (PreCOVID-19, you could easily find such offers in flyers on campus, for example in the student union building or published via ads in the student newspaper.)

I'm going to be a college student, but I've had a credit card in the past as an authorized user, so if I'm correct, that should've helped me build a little credit. Right?

Discover Credit Scorecard is a simple and free way to check your FICO Scoreand you don't have to be a Discover customer. Better still, this isn't just another educational score that many companies offer, it's a FICO score from Trans Union.
