Which card to use for VRBO?
Hi all, I have three cards–CSP, Freedom and Bank Americard Travel Rewards. I am looking to book a VRBO which will cost about $2000 all in. Which to use?
CSP – 2pts on travel, but I understand VRBO does not count as travel. Is this correct? So I would probably get only 2000 points UR points. One thing is I just got this card so I am working toward the minimum spend. But it shouldn't be hard for me to hit the minimum without this purchase, anyway.
BA – 1.5 points on everything so I would get 3000 points.
Freedom – Doesn't seem to be any reason for me to use this card for this purchase.
Help a newbie out?

Don't be distracted by the number of points. Look at the value. Not all points are equal. I believe Bank of America's points have a fixed value of $0.01 each? Ultimate Rewards points are worth $0.0125 if redeemed for travel, but potentially more if transferred to an airline program or to Hyatt.

Thank you, mia. That was fast.
I thought of "Vacation Rental by Owner" but discarded that as a guess because I didn't expect most owners to take credit cards. I should have thought of it as being more like AirBnB.

Actually, I was under the impression that VRBO predates AirBnB.

VRBO now charges a fee of up to 9% to users of credit cards https://help.vrbo.com/articles/What-is-the-service-fee-and-how-does-it-work. If you don't want to pay that fee you might contact the owner of the property to see if you can pay another way
