TransUnion: Enhanced New Inquiry
I applied for a Barclay card and credit sesame immediately sent me an alert for an "enhanced new inquiry" from TransUnion. I have not seen those words before nor the immediate notification from credit sesame. I then applied for an AMEX card and got the please call us message. I think they are nervous I am applying for multiple cards at the same time.
What is the "enhanced new inquiry"?

IMO - Enhanced New Inquiry is basically a fancy word for "Hard Pull".
The "enhancement" is the credit score.
So Enhanced New Inquiry = Hard Pull with a credit score.

Applying for several cards at once is surely going to do damage to your credit score and the inquiries will not help you over the next 30 days
Best to apply for one, then get it, then wait a month, creditors look at how many accounts you open in a period of time.
the only time this is not applicable is when you are applying for secured cards, then the inquiry is only hard when they approve you
