CSP VS Citi Prestige?

Title kindof says it all, I am looking to apply for a new card, have AMEX Plat and Chase Freedom as well as others. Kindof been racking my brain on CSP and Citi Prestige and which is a better card? Which card should have a spot in my wallet, i want to keep the card for many years not just apply and dump in a year.

CSP VS Citi Prestige?

Truly, you should have both. CSP has better partners but Prestige has better benefits. Read up on both of them. Get CSP first as Chase has more restrictions on getting the card. Prestige is much easier to qualify for.

Citi Premier completes directly with Chase Sapphire Preferred. Chase does not have an Ultimate Rewards card which competes with Prestige, except for Palladium which has restricted availability.

For one thing Citi Prestige comes with a $450 annual fee vs $95 for the CSP. You may be able to lower the net fee through the $200 airline credit, but nevertheless, there is a substantial difference.

Prestige has a $250 Airline credit. TYP's are worth 1.6 cpp for AA. Booking our flight with them was fairly straight forward and it counts as a paid ticket, so I also earn AA miles. Don't forget about the $100 Global Entry credit, the three rounds of golf, the 4th night free when booked through Citi, Priority Pass, no FTF etc.

Biggest downside is the stupid stripe location.

We don't know, because we are not you. Where do you live? Do you have a preferred airline or hotel brand? To where do you travel when redeeming awards? Do you fly economy or in premium cabins when redeeming awards?
