Next card question: Ink Plus or Amex?

Hi team, I'm new here and wanted to solicit some advice. I currently have three credit cards:

- Capital One that I've had for a decade or so
- CSP that I've had for 2 months
- Chase Freedom that I've had for 2 months

I've got the bonus for the CSP and I'm thinking about my next card. I'm mostly interested in J/F redemptions from San Francisco to other countries (Asia in particular, but Europe and South America too). Do I

1) Get the Ink Plus and continue to rack up URs? (thinking i'd go for the 50k bonus, waived AF deal)
2) Get an Amex so I can start the clock on the backdating of credit history that I've read about (and so I can diversify into MRs). I'd probably just get the Blue for Business to start (10k signup bonus, no AF) and then expand into the bigger AF cards once I start getting a bit more MRs accumulated.

Thoughts? Other cards I'm not considering that I should be?

Welcome to Flyertalk. American Express (USA) no longer reports new card accounts with your original Member Since date. See this thread:

Next card question: Ink Plus or Amex?

I was able to back date my Amex few months ago. One call and took me about two min. Maybe I was lucky, but my credit reports shows it open in 2010 when I really opened 1/2015

Must've missed that thread. I think I'll go Ink Plus and try to maximize URs for now. Thanks for the replies!

The cutoff was around March 21st so, yes, they were backdating back in January but are no longer doing so. My wife had a card that was opened before March 21st but didn't report until after March 21st so it was not backdated.
