Personal Strategy Feedback

Hi All,

Just started frequent travel due to new job this July. My organization has preference with Marriott, and I live at an American Airlines hub (DFW), though occasionally I’ve needed to use another airline/hotel.

Current cards I hold (all have been acquired within the last 6 months):

• Marriott Rewards Chase Visa (70k points - $85 yearly fee)
o got it for the no foreign transaction fees, and points/free night certificates

• American Airlines Citibank Mastercard (50k points - $95 yearly fee)
o use it as my primary card: figure it’s icing on top of the miles I gain from weekly work use

• US Airways Dividend Miles Barclay Mastercard (40k points - $89 yearly fee)
o applied for it up only a couple of weeks ago, seeing it as a cheap way to 40k AAdvantage points. Will cancel or call to change to a no annual fee card once account mergers with AA. Have/will not use now that I’ve made my first purchase.

Prior to this I’ve only held two cash back cards, one from Amex and another from BoA, both of which I’ve stopped using and have no annual fees.

Other thoughts:

• I’m seeking another card which would give me lounge access (thinking Diner’s Club?), though I’m thinking I may not use this benefit much (maybe a handful of times a year, and that’s only if I had the benefit)
• Open to churning all cards above so long as I can reapply

Honestly, just looking for feedback or if there’s anything I should or shouldn’t be doing…

Thanks
