CC selection advice needed
I have been researching a number of posts on flyertalk and other blogs regarding CCs and would like a suggestion on what I should do with my CCs selection and possibly getting another CC.
Airline and hotel preference:
Airline: I recently switched from UA to AA/US as a carrier due to where I fly each week. I have to charge all my flights through my corporate credit card. Personal flights obviously to my personal cards
Hotel preference: Marriott
Current Cards:
-AMEX Corporate Platinum - all business charges
-CITI AAdvantage executive - 100k mile bonus and lounge access
-CHASE Freedom - rarely use - oldest CC I have
-Retail credit credit card - for purchases only with that retail store and the daily discounts and decent reward points - 2nd oldest CC I have
I was considering applying for the Marriott Premier VISA (70K bonus) or Ink Bold card (bonus is about to end 6/1). Am a wrong with my selection. Also, should I consider cancelling one of my other credit cards?
Thank you for your advice.

2. I would go with the Marriott card. The Bold is a great card - I personally have it - but since you are flying primarily AA and want to stay at Marriotts I wouldn't waste my time with it right now. Yes, you can transfer URs you earn on the Bold to Marriott but the redemption rate is so low that it isn't worth it.

1. I wouldn't cancel the Freedom or the retail credit card - since both are in good standing, are old, and don't have an AF. Besides, the Freedom is a great card to use as a sidekick if you ever pick up an Ink Bold or CSP.

For the OP who stays at Marriott's, the Marriott Premier seems like a no brainer. 70k+free night, plus 5x points for every stay at a Marriott. The card is worth it even if you never use it except at Marriott's.

Thank you to the both of you for your feedback. I was leaning towards the Marriott card the past couple of months but the with all the Ink Bold blog articles I started to second guess myself.
I will see how this year goes with AA/US. If I decided to switch back to UA later in the year I will pick up the Ink Bold card for the UR.
Thank you again!
