What cards do you have?
So I looked around a bit for a thread like this, but I didn't find one. If you're willing to share, what cards do you have? I think it'd be useful for people who are just starting this (like I am) to see what some people who are more experienced have in their wallet. I've seen one or two blogs who have said what cards they have, but I thought it'd be interesting to see the cards of a bigger pool of people.
And which cards are your favorite and why too would be really helpful.
I recently started this and I currently have:
-Discover Student card that I've had for a few years and kind of hate, but at least it's not a fee card
-United Chase
-Chase Freedom
and just recently got approved for:
-Chase Sapphire
-US Airways MasterCard
-AA Citi Card
-Alaska Airlines BOA Card
What have you guys got?

Merely replicating what an "experienced" person has in their wallet won't help. Each person needs to find cards suited to the individual versus relying on lists or popularity of a given card.
The why is the important part. It's what allows others to determine if a card would be useful to them. Why do you have those cards?

My wife and I have:
Amex Blue - have had this since college (since 2005)
Chase Freedom - same as above
CSP
Costco Amex
Amex PR Gold card
Amex Platinum
Chase Hyatt
Plan to get in 2014 - SPG, maybe the Chase Mariott? I'm open to suggestions as far as 2014 apps go.

1) Chase Freedom (for 5% categories)
2) Chase Ink (auto-bills cable and mobile phone, also use at Staples and allows me to transfer my Freedom points to partners)
3) SPG AMEX (my go-to as I consistently am able to redeem for 3% so anything below 3% goes on this card)
4) Plat AMEX (used for perks and travel only)
5) Citi AA MC (my go-to non-AMEX, also fly AA a lot and use the benefits)
6) BofA Platinum Privileges card (used for gas at 4.5% back when not a Freedom category, also used for Bank Amerideals which somehow always come up with amazing 5-10% discounts at places I actually go).
7) AMEX Open SimplyCash CC (when I downgraded my biz SPG it turned into this)
Will likely open a Citi AA biz card this year for the 50K miles and possibly the UA Explorer for 50k miles. Might close the Ink and open a CSP in 2015. Amex Plat may be cancelled if they don't come up with some good benefits to replace AA lounge access as I use that all the time.

As takeshi74 says, it is the Why that is important. My guess is that many people have at least one or two cards that they wouldn't get again (and for whatever reason haven't bothered to close) so a list of cards isn't all that much different from seeing a list of all credit cards and selecting a few
