After 30 minutes on hold, trying to ask BBVA this question and getting nowhere, I come right back to my friends at FT....

Long story short, a few weeks ago, I opened an account at BBVA with direct deposit and did my ten debit transactions to get a free Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I now have the tablet and I'm debating whether or not to keep the account open as I never hear BBVA involved with MS opportunities. I could leave the account open with minimal DD and just BP someone every two weeks or drop the account and be done with it. I'm not thrilled with their service so it won't hurt my feelings.

Before dropping the account, I looked through their available CCs and found this:

It says to select a category for 3X and another two categories for 2X, but for the life of me, I can't find the list of categories online and the rep keeps wanting to give me the list of things I can have once I earn the points.

So I turn to the board. Anyone familiar with this card able to tell me about the categories available and do those categories intersect with MS opportunities.

Did you ever figure anything out with this card? It looks even more attractive now with free Redbird loads at Target, which often codes as a grocery store with Visa. Just curious if grocery can consistently be picked as a 3x category. I've also been trying to determine if someone who lives in an area without branches (WI) would be eligible to apply, but can't get a straight answer when I call to ask. It also looks like they advertise a 20,000 point ($200) signup bonus, but on a different part of the website they mention a $100 statement credit.

I found the categories easily with the above link.

It would be helpful if you were to provide click-by-click instructions to see the list -or- copy and paste the list if a login is required to see it.
