New Years Flight
Hi All,
I'm looking to grab a reasonable award flight out of NRT (or HND) to SAN on 1/1/14. I originally had a flight booked for the 5th, but I had to urgently reschedule last minute and now I'm looking at pretty heavy redemption options. Any ideas? I don't have a huge balance of miles, I have about 65K AA, 80K UA, and about 50K UR and 40K MR. I would like to stay within *A but If I can get a reasonable flight I don't care. I see standard awards on united.com, but... I would hate to blow 65K on an economy one-way ticket.
This is last minute, so if I'm S outta luck then tell me how it is-- just thought maybe the veterans knew of anything that I didn't.

There was no availability for JL when I checked, (BA.com)
Unfortunately, yes. I could fly into LAX if needed and get down to SAN with a few Avios, but I'm not sure if that will help much.
2~5 days.... is a gamble! haha
