Need AA points

Hi, are there any other ways to get AA points besides the citi AA cc, amex, & spg? I need some AA miles for a trip and my options are running out since now I'm waiting until I can get another citi AA card. With MR, I can transfer to SPG and then to AA but once I get the points to my SPG account, it's difficult for me to part with them because I can get so much more out of SPG and I tend to transfer them to BA anyways because I fly LAX-SFO a lot.

MR has deals where you can transfer MR points for 1.35 to BA (last time they did it) so you might want to hold off and get .10 more per point instead of 1.25 from SPG. If you haven't yet - check out MS thread on here - they have good ideas on how to get more miles.

How many miles are needed? There are several ways, but we need to know how many you need.
