Need churning advice

I am confused. I need some clarification.

Is it possible to get the bonus miles from getting a new Citi AA Advantage even if I have a current Citi AA Advantage card that I downgraded to spend $2 get 1 mile so I wouldn't have to pay the fee?

Also, are the Barclay's USAIR cards churnable? Mine is coming up to the annual fee. If it is churnable, should I cancel the old one before getting the new one?

At AMEX (Delta) and Chase (United) I am considered "first time-new customer" at card cancellation + 2 years? Is this true?

Thanks for any help.

Question 1: not enough info, see here to find your answer that is timing specific

Question 2: churnable. See here http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/credi...5k-benies.html

Question 3: Doesn't say what Amex Delta card.......I think the answer is contained in the T& CS of the application. For the United card, again no indication what card. Did you have a prior Chase united card in which case it would be a new product and thus, no need to wait two years or are you trying for exactly the same card?
