Which cards to close
So how to determine which card to close from the one that have been open since 6-8 months --- fight between
UA - some petty benefits on flights with UA
Hyatt - elite status + one free night each year
CSP (7% dividend is due) - so this is no go
Freedom - 5% categories
Ink - 5x for beans

Well, how often do you fly UA metal or stay in Hyatts? Seems like the choice is really down to those two. The one free night on the Hyatt card may have the edge over the UA.
The Freedom is a no-fee card, so why would you not want to hold on to that for the 5x quarterly bonus categories, and UR earnings in conjunction with the CSP? If you can easily buy VR reloads, the Ink's probably worth it too.

Issue is # of active cards with Chase. Hence this query ...
With new year there might be some new offers (like SW or BA etc) & I am trying to be under the radar. Not to have much open accounts with Chase.
UA would probably be the final one ...
Anyone else having all these account open and planning for new chase accounts as well. Need to under how to plan for this

there is no reason to close any of them unless you are not getting more rewards+benefits than the cost of the AF for those with an AF.
regarding chase, you're best strategy is to app whatever new chase card you want and then move limits from your extant chase cards if needed during any reconsideration request.

One main benefit for closing out the cards is that you will be able to apply for new card bonus offer about 1 year from now so the earlier you close, the earlier you can take advantage for new card offers.
