US Airways 5x dining/electronics promo registration problem

I wanted to let you know about a problem I'm having with the current US Airways Mastercard (Barclays) 5 miles/$1 promo on spend at restaurants and electronic stores for Q4. I received an email from Barclays inviting me to the promo, I registered, and got an email back from Barclays confirming my registration.
I wrote to Customer Service the other day to ask when my bonus miles would post(6-8 weeks from now), and I received a response saying that I'm not registered, and that the registration period had passed. Well, we've had about 5 back-and-forth emails through secure message and they still insist I'm not registered, and now want me to print out my Email i received and mail it through the regular mail, in addition to a bunch of other info, to their corporate HQ.
Well, I'm not doing that, since it will be until after the promo is over before I hear back. I'll give them one call to see if this can be resolved, but in the meantime, I'm not using the card anymore, since I get better spend bonuses on other cards. Just wanted to let everyone know that Barclays might have been having registration issues or something, so you might want to write to them and check if you're actually registered, if you're only using this card because of the 5x bonus, like I was.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't get this promo, but got the spend $750 in Oct/Nov/Dec to get 15k miles. I should double check the registration.

I do have that proof, informed them of that fact, and asked where I could forward the email to. The reply was to print out the email and "fax at 866-823-8178 or send your request through regular mail at P.O. Box 8801 Wilmington, DE 19899."
I'm also to include " Cardholder Name, Account Number
A complete description of the problem or request
Any documentation that supports your claim
Phone number where you can be reached during the day if we have questions
Important: Please sign the letter"

I believe that this is an unreasonable request of them, so I'm just not using the card anymore. But like I said, the real reason for this post was to give people that may have registered in this promo a heads up.
