Apply for Credit Cards on the weekend?
Do the cc companies look at your credit scores on the weekends (do they work 24/7)? Or if you apply on weekends, they check on everything on Monday morning?

Their computer systems can check scores on the weekend. Most, if not all, major companies have centers with actual humans as well. Not sure where they are located, though.

you can get auto approvals on w/e, but recon calls will need to be made mon-fri

I had a card approved during a reconsideration call to a Citi rep last night (Sunday evening).

Thanks for the data point. I would have thought that one would need to wait Monday to speak to someone.
