Am I points obsessed?
My wife definitely think so... Recently when were searching for a midwife for the delivery of our first baby the first thing I could think of when we decided on who we were using was how could I maximize my points.
Our midwife takes credit cards so I am able to utilize the Amex prepaid deal and earn 5X the points! Plus we're getting charged the full amount up front and then will get reimbursed by the insurance later... it's like getting free points!
Anyone else have a wife that thinks their points obsessed?

All I can say is you better use those points to get your wife something nice. I mean she's the one doing all the work to earn those points. Especially after you told her this was a strategy.

Ha ha well she will definitely be getting something nice no matter what. We didn't chose the midwife strictly because she took a credit card and we could get 5X points... but it was definitely an added bonus.

Seriously though I think I am going to plan a series of blog posts about how you can maximize your points as an added benefit to having a baby. Obviously the most important thing is a safe child birth BUT... if you can get an added bonus of points.. Hey! Why not?!?!
