New Laptop & Desktop.

I'm planning on purchasing a new laptop and desktop in the next 1 to 3 weeks (basically before it becomes impossible to purchase Windows 7 pre-installed devices). Obviously I'd like to max out on points while still getting the best possible price.

Any thoughts? The obvious are Staples and OfficeDepot because of the Ink Bold bonuses and Best Buy because of the Chase Freedom bonus (though I'm already almost maxed out on the category spend for the quarter). I tend to look at Groupon from time to time, but the Toshiba laptop isn't powerful enough for my needs.

I do have an Amex Open Business card, so the savings on HP is there too.

Yeah, it'll either be a Visa Signature or an Amex, both of which are good on warranties.

I've thought about it, but my next churn is at the end of Dec. I doubt there'll be much in the way of options for Windows 7 pre-installed computers at that point.

Yeah. I'm thinking about it. Or gambling and seeing if there are still a fair amount of options for desktops and laptops that come with Windows 7 pre-installed rather than Windows 8.
