Churning - do you cancel

Guys

I plan to keep churning a few cards as offers keep coming by. My Amex gold annual fee is coming up and I'm thinking of canceling - the Amex agent is offering me to convert into a Zync card which only has a $25 annual fee and she stated the benefit is I keep the same account no and credit bureaus don't see a cancellation. However, I don't see a cancellation as being a big deal on my credit score since I have 3-4 steady cash-back cards for the last 10 yrs that I will always keep long-term and they carry my largest balances

So basically my question is - do you guys bother to keep cards or cancel them once you've recd the points?

Thanks
