A stupid question on credit report pull?

Hi all,

In July I applied for a Chase credit card and got denied at first. Then I called Chase reconsideration line and they approved my application. The week after, they also sent me a letter saying that I have a right to get a free copy of my credit report from Equifax within 60 days from the date on the letter. My stupid question is that:

Does it hurt my credit scores if I request for a free copy according to the information on this letter?

Thanks.

No.
These requests generate what is known as a soft pull. Only hard pulls affect your credit score.
